Nexus is excited to announce a new engagement with The Texas Education Exchange, the statewide data platform supported by 19 regions across the state and housed at Region 4 ESC in Houston. Through this collaboration, Texas districts will gain seamless, secure access to Nexus’s machine-learning–driven analytics directly within The Exchange ecosystem, with a strong focus on supporting Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) initiatives.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment is central to ensuring effective classroom instruction and rewarding outstanding educators. By engaging with The Exchange, Nexus gives districts a direct pathway to connect their evaluation data, student learning measures, and teacher feedback into one streamlined system. This reduces the time spent compiling TIA documentation while giving leaders actionable insights to guide their programs and sustain educator excellence.
Preparing students for life beyond high school requires timely and accurate information. Nexus makes it easier for districts to monitor and act on CCMR indicators such as college entrance exam participation, dual-credit coursework, and industry-recognized certifications. Through The Exchange, this information is securely integrated and updated in real time, empowering administrators and counselors to identify student needs early and respond proactively.
A key principle of The Exchange is that districts retain full ownership and control of their data. Nexus shares this commitment by ensuring that all TIA and CCMR insights are delivered through secure, compliant systems. Built on Ed-Fi Data Standards, Nexus integrates data across multiple platforms while maintaining strict FERPA compliance, giving districts the confidence that their information is managed with the highest levels of security and privacy.
